This post has been commented on multiple times by TankieReplyBot. This seems to have started around the time when the lemmy.ml instance was updated to a new version of Lemmy. The new version has caused me some trouble in terms of comments not showing up, so perhaps TankieReplyBot is affected as well?

By the way, thanks for your work on lemmy-reply-bot! It's a great contribution to the Lemmy community.

Interesting. That shouldn't be possible. The bot keeps track of which posts/comments have been replied to and shouldn't reply to them again. Did the post ID change when Lemmy was updated? That might explain it. It would also explain why links to posts that I bookmarked no longer work.

I don't think so. Maybe it was impacted by the lemmy<->lemmygrad federation?

Same problem here.

Same problem [here](https://lemmy.ml/post/959436).

This seems to be a federation problem. This has never happened on lemmygrad, which is where the account is. lemmy-reply-bot can't reply to the same post multiple times if the post ID stays the same because it keeps track of post IDs that have already been replied to. It also won't reply to any post that it doesn't receive an event for, which suggests that multiple post events are being sent to it and they have different IDs for the same post. I'll probably end up restricting it to only reply to things on lemmygrad if that's the issue.

lemmy-reply-bot has been restricted to only reply to posts and comments in local communities (in this case lemmygrad). If this issue keeps happening, please let me know. If anyone wants their own instance of TankieReplyBot to run on their lemmy instance, my config can be found in the spoiler at the bottom of this post. Thanks.
